I don't know what Bethesda is dragging but it starting to stink..... U have to understand that making patches for a game is not the easiest task in the world, so it probably will take some time. Going through countless lines of programming code to find acouple bugs is a very painstaking process. U should be glad that they are releasing a patch. |

Dude, it's pointless to argue with the Bethesda "fan boys" on this site. No matter how broken the game is, we should be blessed that Bethesda gave us lowly PS3 users a chance to play it. That's the way they see it anyway. This post has been edited by TristanMike: Nov 19 2008, 01:41 PM |

Seems so. Im very disappointed about all this bug and stuff. The game is great but a this stat it is not more than a beta version. So still waiting a jefferson mem (IMG:http://static.bethsoft.com/bgs/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
AAAAND the german support said: Yes, we know many players have the same problem but theres no patch at the moment. END |

END Sadly it's an "eye opener" for me on how Bethesda truly feels about their Quality Assurance, and thus quality of the game. I can say that this will most likely be the last Bethesda product I ever purchase or recommend to my friends. I suppose that Bethesda doesn't fully deserve all the venom though. I, like others have mentioned, wonder how on earth a game this obviously buggy got the scores it did. Sure, if/when the game is manageable, it might deserve the scores it got, but how on earth they were calculated with this build is beyond me. |

But the fact that it's so damn buggy makes me wonder what build the reviewers were sent to play. It stinks of "selective levels." But it's ok: I have Motorostorm Pacific Rift, Resistance 2 and Valkyria Chronicles to tide me over until patch release. |

Please, the game has been out for so long. I think Bethesda has heard all the complaints about a billion times. This song sums up what you should do if you feel like whining: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=welnlg3svTw I have a PS3, and I got LBP the day it came out (the early release), and if I remember correctly, LBP's release was far worse than FO3's. And now, LBP is almost bugless. This post has been edited by gamerpete: Nov 19 2008, 04:27 PM |

I think many people are taking this whole "the game is buggy" issue a little too far. Why did it get the reviews it did? Because obviously, not everyone is experiencing the huge problems you and the majority of people on THIS board are. This is the place to come when you are having problems with the game, so you are seeing the complainers and haters on here. I would have never came here if I didn't have the GOAT issue in-game, and I needed to figure out how to bypass it. But besides that one bug, and a few graphical issues with the game, it runs perfectly fine. I have not crashed yet and I have played for over 20 hours. If you think this game is buggy, then you obviously have a shallow perspective on released games. I have seen MUCH, MUCH worse ... and I was expecting far worse after reading all the posts on these boards. Everything is being over-dramatized and blown way out of proportion due to all the negativity here. The fact is, the people here are the minority of the population that probably has the game. On the order of 5-10% of the population most likely. And the ones having major issues is probably even less than that. This forum is not the end-all-be-all of bugs with the game, as it is a biased place. If you were not having issues of the game, you wouldn't be joining ANY forums to complain about it, you would be playing it! I await the patch as well, but can still play the game just fine. Yes, this is not the most bug-free game I have played, but it is far from the "buggiest release game I have played" (VERY far from that). The only thing I can agree with is that I am surprised something has not been released sooner. We are closing in on a month since release, and still nothing. A patch to fix stability issues like this are usually released within a week, especially on a release game. Undoubtedly, this is hurting Fallout 3 sales somewhat, I know I got my brand new copy from someone who couldn't get it to work. Anyways, here is to hoping it comes in the next week or so. |

Thanks, finaly some word about it (IMG:http://static.bethsoft.com/bgs/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) . Maybe we can play this great game (without bugs) soon. But i still cant understand why software developement goes this way. More and more the end user has to do the beta testing not only on games, but on all kinds of software. I dont wanna know how the situation is in 5 or more year at this rate. |

Perhaps I'll just have to head to my favorite Torrent site. I'm sure my 60 bucks could be used somewhere else. |

What you need to ask is how did they even shipped this game? It's freezing on almost every ps3. Do they have magical ps3s.
