ASSOCIATE VIDEO PRODUCER -- Rockville, Maryland
Bethesda Softworks is seeking an experienced, creative and energetic Associate Video Producer to work in its production department. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with green screen techniques, compression, and DVD authoring. Knowledge of Bethesda Softworks’ games is a plus.
Applicants must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment to edit gameplay sequences and trailers and to design original broadcast graphics, DVD interfaces, and navigation interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Editing and compressing videos for DVD authoring
- Authoring DVD’s
- Capturing and editing HD game footage
- Editing Video Game Trailers
- Compressing video for internet distribution
- Converting video between various formats. (HD, NTSC, PAL ex…)
- Creating Motion Graphics
- Editing and Creating Video for In-Game Cinematics
Requirements:
- Knowledge of design principles and current tools including Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, and one or more 3D packages
- 2-3 years of professional experience in a TV studio, production house, or ad agency focusing on trailer or commercial production is preferred.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under stress
- Self-motivation
- Technical savvy and an understanding of interactive technology
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Passion for games
An online portfolio or DVD of recent work is required.
