Bethesda Softworks, a ZeniMax Media company, announced this week it will publish Hunted: The Demon's Forge, a third-person co-op fantasy action game. Hunted is being developed at inXile Entertainment for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Games for Windows.
To learn more about Hunted: The Demon's Forge, check out these first-look previews:
- Eurogamer
"[Hunted is] foreboding, atmospheric, detailed.. Although its title and look locate it firmly in the musty dungeon of fantasy, its brisk action and smart co-op mechanics could genuinely find a new audience for the oldest game in the book. There's something tremendously comforting about that."
- GameDaily
"Hunted: The Demon's Forge could be one of the year's most exciting games. It's great to see an old school concept combined with modern graphics, and the option to explore with a friend makes the game even more desirable."
- IGN
"The environments in Hunted look pretty sharp.. it definitely feels like the kind of world that would be fun to explore."
- Kotaku
"A Dungeon Crawler for the Gears Age.. [Hunted is] all cooperative action, all the time."
- ArsTechnica
"A hack and slash with graphics this good, focused on co-op, is a very good thing, especially coupled with a new IP. This will be one to watch."

Nearly a year ago (February 24th, to be exact), id Software launched QUAKE LIVE — a browser-based (and totally free) version of Quake III Arena.
And what a year it's been! Breaking it down by the numbers, players have spent over 8.9 million hours in over 60 million ranked matches, earning 8 million awards and 810 million frags.
To help get the year off to a good start, the team has also uploaded a new level, Fallout Bunker, for you to enjoy. As the team moves forward, they plan to bring many new fighting arenas to QUAKE LIVE, including nostalgic works from the community as well as new arenas designed specifically for QUAKE LIVE.
Thanks to all the players for making QUAKE LIVE such a success in its first year! |
